I was born in the sweltering heat of summer. The very first present I received was from my grandfather--it was an airconditioning unit. I get heat rash. I am exposed to the sun most of the time because of work, and because I love to walk around. Yesterday I used an umbrella. It was almost two in the afternoon. The heat was oppressive. The rain poured later, at around five. It was nice. It's been raining in the afternoons. They say that means summer's over. I become glad for the cool weather and would like nothing else but to cuddle up and sleep. Lovely, lovely. But sometimes I get guilty when I become too happy about rain, because in other places too much rain is a bad thing.
